Home Practice

CAN YOU PRACTICE AT HOME…
YES!
Setting up a home practice couldn’t be easier. You don’t need any special equipment or a lot of floor space. Below are a few tips to help you get the most out of your practice by creating your perfect home Hot Yoga space!
OUR TIPS & TRICKS
CHOOSE A SPACE

You can practice in any room, but if you want to create a “hot room” experience, a small room is best. This is because small rooms are often better at maintaining heat and humidity.

Be sure you have enough space to move through the postures. If you need to move some furniture out of the way, do it beforehand so it doesn’t interrupt your practice.

SET THE SCENE

Once you’ve chosen your pratice space, place your yoga mat in the middle of the space. If you don’t have a mat, don’t worry – a large towel will also work.

Did you know…

To practice yoga, all you really need is a floor. Traditionally yoga was practiced on either bare ground or on top of a woven or fur rug.

The modern yoga mat wasn’t invented until 1982!

You’ll also want to find a place for your live-streaming device.  A phone, tablet, or laptop with a camera and wi-fi is all you need. If you want to see the teacher or other students, place the device where you can see it clearly. Also, remember to turn up the volume so you can hear the instructions.

A full-length mirror is helpful so that you can see yourself and make corrections.  No mirror? No problem – you can also watch yourself using the live-stream video on your device.

A great studio with great staff and great students. I visited a couple of times while in Vegas with work and was made to feel very at home. Really magic. Thanks!

New to Yoga, much less Bikram yoga. I needed a program to help with flexibility and mobility. Only 6 classes in, but really enjoy both the program and the instructors. It’s tough- but rewarding. Christiana is excellent; enjoyed Frank’s session as well.
